Melissa Hutcheson - International Director
Melissa provides comprehensive oversight for all international student matters at Wakatipu High School. Her responsibilities include enrolment, regular communication with parents and agents, and ensuring the programme fully complies with the Code of Practice. Melissa is dedicated to the care and support of each student, coordinating all aspects of their experience to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience. Email Melissa.
Kate Ide - International Administration and Homestay
Kate inspects prospective accommodation, interviews hosts and checks references carefully and assists in day-to-day operations. All successful candidates are vetted by NZ Police as suitable caregivers. Either member of our international team will meet our international students on arrival at the airport and introduce them to their homestay families. All students, parents and homestay families have our staff member's telephone numbers, so that help is always available.
Melanie Ward - Deputy Principal
Melanie is responsible for the academic experience and pathway of international students, ensuring they are enrolled in the most appropriate courses to achieve their future goals.
